“Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement” – Dr. Kevin Gilmartin
The Police Foundation hosted this highly-regarded seminar to over 140 law enforcement officers in a three-county area as part of the Officer Wellness & Resiliency Initiative. Chief Knott said “Gilmartin identified with every officer in the room in describing the biological roller coaster experienced by law enforcement. Officers walked away with tools to better balance their lives and still be a professional cop.”

K9 Unit
CBRPD’s new K9 Unit is underway!  K9 Baron and Officer Andrew Hochmuth graduated NJSP Scent Training in June 2019 and will attend Patrol Training in September. The Foundation will continue to raise funds for the expansion of this valuable unit.

Leadership Training

The Police Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded Central Bucks Regional Police training funds in the amount of $6,700 for leadership training.  The Central Bucks Regional Police Department has scheduled several Supervisors to attend a total of nine courses including  FBI-LEEDA, FBI-LEEDA CLI, and POSIT Penn State.  The Foundation will continue to support these valuable trainings in 2019.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Foundation celebrated it’s public “opening.” The event was hosted by Board Member Chris Nardo, CEO & President of Monument Bank. This event was a great success raising donations and awareness to the Foundation’s mission.

Doylestown Arts Festival – BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors
September 9 & 10, 2017

The Doylestown Team at BHHS Fox & Roach Realtors partnered with Central Bucks Regional Police Foundation, Doylestown Fire Co #1, and Discover Doylestown to raise money for each organization during the Arts Festival. A “Spin the Wheel” game, raffle ticket, and photo op with Bear were a great hit! We are grateful for their generosity!

Captain Knott Graduates Harvard!

Captain Karl Knott completed the National Prepardeness Leadership Initiative (NPLI) at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Executive Education. Captain Knott has the distinction of being the only Pennslyvania municipal law enforcement officer to be accepted to this highly competetive program.
